In future, our Grosse Gewächse wines will always go on sale on May 1st, around a year and a half after the harvest. The previous rhythm, exactly two years after the harvest, meant that our wines were less in the spotlight than they deserved to be at the major (specialist) tastings at the end of August/beginning of September. At these tastings, the wine world looks forward with anticipation to the new vintage of the great growths. Our wines, which are already better developed because they have matured for a year, are very well received, but cannot be compared with other wines.

The annual preview of the Grosse Gewächse in Wiesbaden at the end of August plays a particularly important role for the experts, where the major merchants are on the lookout for the best wines of the vintage, while wine journalists and bloggers evaluate the wines and award points.
