After more than 8 years of yeast storage and a long wait, the time has finally come and we can hardly believe it:
We are proud to welcome the newest member of our sparkling wine family.

Forster Pechstein is one of the most distinctive vineyards in Germany. The intense, stony minerality of the wine, the fine spiciness and the breathtakingly taut mouthfeel are unmistakable. A legend among the Palatinate vineyards.

Sparkling wines from this vineyard also have a long tradition at Buhl. With the 2013 vintage, we are now presenting
the first vintage of a new era in sparkling wine production from the Forster Pechstein.

On the nose, this Riesling sparkling wine Prestige presents itself with pronounced fleshy aromas, apricot, a hint of quince and noisette. The racy acidity in combination with the salty minerality typical of Pechstein,
which is still noticeable on the palate even after almost nine years on the lees,
give the sparkling wine a spectacular tension. Animating, stirring, breathtaking – a new benchmark for our Riesling sparkling wines.
